ANNUAL BROWARD NPHC FOUNDERS' DAY CELEBRATION
It is that time of year again for our Annual Founders' Day Celebration!
This year's theme: Celebrating Black Excellence
Our Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 6pm. It will be at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center.

Greetings Greek Members, Visitors, and Friends,

 

Welcome to the Broward National Pan Hellenic Website.

 

The Broward County National Pan Hellenic Council was established on October 11,1997. The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is the cooperative governing body of the traditionally African American fraternities and sororities, also known as the Divine Nine. The member organizations of the Divine Nine are Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. Each of these groups evolved at a time when African Americans were denied essential rights and services afforded to others.

The Broward NPHC promotes interactin through monthly meetings, annual social engagements, and with participating in community events. Our monthly online Divine Nine newsletter provides information from the local Greek chapters as well as community events within our local communities. As a unified group of representatives, we believe in the power of collaboration and welcome opportunities to develop strategic partnerships with community stakeholders and nonprofit organizations that alighn with our purpose which is community awareness and action through educational, economic, and cultural service activities, and by transforming our communities through service and civic engagement.
